with my daily seeing all the attention of late, I finally got around to putting my Christmas present on the toy

Kinja'd!!!

May need some adjustment, as it currently sits VERY close to the exhaust. Not sure if I should drop the exhaust or cut the lip.

Drop the exhaust, don't cut the lip. It might be more work but it'll look better in the end.

Just my $0.02!

3rd option! Get a rad looking heat shield.

Cut the exhaust and replace the tip with a diesel type exhaust :)

hrm a potential option I'd not considered, I have seen some tasty ones.

Just so long as I don't end up like this!

may be as simple as finding longer rubbers for the hangers.

I searched along time for this particular exhaust system, I shall not be cutting it :D

Then you'll need to drop the exhaust by an inch or so ;) Car is looking good by the way, perfect drop :)

I say you should cut the lip and find a heat shield to color coordinate with lip to blend in

thanks :)

I worked hard on the drop, adjusting up and down for weeks. Its been on a variety of 15 inch wheels since lowering it, and I have new 16s with smaller sidewall tyres waiting to go on, so I expect I will be doing a lot of work again once those go on to get the height right again.

I've got a civic with the same body (mine is a 97). It's a 1.4 and I've added a Lysholm supercharger and stuff... drove it paintet matte black for a while, now it's handpainted matte white with graffiti on the hood :P Got to say, your car looks MUCH better :)

Clean looking car. Like the black mirrors, clear lenses, and body color wheels. Way to keep it straight.

Yea, cutting the lip would be the easy way out, but as others have said, try to drop the exhaust just a wee bit more.

Nice looking 6g, btw - love the body-colored matching rims. Is that a stock color, or did you paint them/have them painted? Either way, looks perfect.

car is stock colour, the wheels are painted. They are "fat fives" from an Integra, painted white with generic white spray paint from wal mart. Couple hours work, and about $3 a wheel in paint.
